Regional Efficiency Standards

Did you know starting in as early as May 2013 you may legally not be able to install an 80% efficient furnace.  The department of Energy released its new standards on October 25, 2011 and there are some significant changes.  So if you work in what is considered the North Region you will be breaking the law if you install an 80% efficient furnace.  For more information see the following link http://www.achrnews.com/articles/print/118250 .
